Armoloy of Western PA

Experts in Wear Resistant Coatings, Metal Plating and Thin Dense Chromium Applications

  • About Armoloy of WPA

ARMOLOY® of Western Pennsylvania offers wear coatings and dry lubricants (Diamond Chromium Coatings, Thin Dense Chromium Coatings) that will solve your unique problems and save you time and money. Our highly trained sales engineering staff will provide you with complete customer service throughout the entire process.

  • Armoloy Coatings

High Rc Chromium Coating technology can reduce the problems associated with severe corrosion. Even pitting, one of the most destructive forms of corrosion, can be avoided with the use of Armoloy’s unique corrosion resistant coatings, providing increased efficiency and a reduction in maintenance costs.

  • Wear Resistant Coating

Armoloy’s anti-corrosion wear resistant coatings are used to protect plastic injection metal molds, even in the most severe conditions. Working with alloy steels tends to produce more heat than most other processes, and our patented product continues to prove itself in these instances by reducing the effects of the heating and cooling cycles required in the molding process.

  • Armoloy Plating for Metals

There are numerous benefits in using Armoloy’s diamond coatings for your metal plating needs. Plating Injection Mold Cavities and Gates that run glass filled resins, that tend to wash out tooling. Plating Stamping Dies and Punches to keep the edges sharp and reduce galling and pick up with difficult base materials such as Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Galvanized materials.

  • Coating Solutions

Thin dense chromium and XADC coatings can provide absolute adhesion and corrosion protection equal to 440 series stainless steel. This allows the use of metals that are less expensive, easier to machine, more resistant to fatigue, and longer-lived.

  • Diamond Chromium Coatings

Armoloy’s Diamond Chromium Coating exceeds the boundaries of standard coatings. Armoloy TDC and Armoloy XADC are both applied at a low temperature of 130F.
